Located in the residential area, the hotel offered low off-peak prices. One of the dining options, Los Orientales was 15 mins walk away.

The area contains some restaurants like lo de rosendo within 10 minutes' walk. The hotel was located a short walk to Palacio Raggio and other tourist attractions. Free WiFi was working perfectly.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, providing good advice on where to eat. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The hotel had great facilities, including good Wi-Fi and a change money. The location was convenient, as there were plenty of restaurants nearby, and it was easy to get to touristy areas with the subway or taxi. we had a fantastic experience.
Didn't dislike anything about the hotel.

The staff spoke excellent English and went out of their way to be helpful, from recommending places to visit, what to do and even helping us book flights. They provided lots of information regarding tours, tango nights and places to visit. Our room was very spacious with high ceilings and a really big comfortable bed. The bathroom was spotless and had a good shower.
It is not in the centre of the city but all areas are easily accessed by the Subte (subway) which is really cheap and taxis which are very reasonable also.

The hotel had very friendly and accommodating staff who helped me with my requests. The location was convenient as it was close to public transportation and popular tourist spots. the room was clean and had a charming atmosphere that gave me a sense of being in a historical building.
The hotel lacked variety in its breakfast options. It would have been nice to have more choices for the price.

I thought that the staff were extremely helpful, responsive, and made the stay a pleasure. The room was so clean, well serviced, and picturesque.
The quoted price on the internet did not include tax, and yes, this is the fine print, but 21% tax is quite high, so this was misleading I think. The hotel is quite a long way from the action of BA but the tube is close by, just don't take it in peak hour if you are claustrophobic.

I recently stayed at a 4-star hotel and had a truly luxurious experience. This place is located in a quiet neighborhood, away from the bustling touristy areas but still easily accessible via the subway or a taxi. The service provided by the staff was top-notch and they ensured that my every need was taken care of. The room amenities were impressive, including air conditioning and an in-room safe. I also enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful patio in the evening. Another plus point was the free Wi-Fi, which was fast and reliable. this hotel offered enhanced comfort and quality services that made my stay truly memorable.
I would highly recommend this hotel to my family.

Old historical building, room design, marvelous staff
Do not book a basic room, it is not good at all. Cold, small and poor equiped, we asked for the room upgrade and paid difference in price. The other room was very beautiful. Breaskfast is excluded from the room charges and has to be paid separately. Overall hotel is too expensive compare to other hotels more centrally located.

Hotel proprietor & staff give a very personal & helpful service
The only slight downside is that the area around the hotel isn't that attractive

The hotel was situated in a nice neighbourhood with easy access to touristy areas via subte. the spacious rooms at affordable rates are an unbeatable advantage. the bathroom could have been better maintained, with leaking taps and dampness in some rooms. the friendly staff was always ready to give advice and recommendations. the breakfast was good and facilities to change money were available onsite.
Some rooms lacked basic facilities like a small fridge and an electric kettle.

I have travelled a fair amount within and without the States, so I have come to realize what a difference a hotel and its staff can make to a trip. The reviews I read were spot on. Never have I been welcomed so warmly and genuinely as at the Raco. Everyone connected with the hotel greeted us as if we were guests in their home. No request was too small or grand to receive immediate and thoughtful attention--tickets to a soccer match, booking a trip to Colonia, finding a milonga to savor authentic tango, etc. People play a big part in the outcome of any trip, and the folks at Raco added to the quality of ours. The hotel, itself, is a converted 100-year old mansion, which reflects many of the original details and design. It's in a safe place with easy access to the central city and sites via the metro (subte). Nothing lavish, just extremely comfortable and tranquil.Todo bien, as they say. No doubt where I will stay if I return. Phil Barber

We experienced unexpected disruptions during our New Year stay with leaking and non-functioning amenities. the staff did their best to address the issues and were accommodating;
